This is not
your father’s Tropicana Casino Atlantic City anymore………. We allowed a few extra days
for this visit to Atlantic City’s new inner Metropolis called
the Tropicana and the Quarter at the Tropicana. When my wife and
I were on-line studying the Trop’s website we realized this was
a mega casino resort complex and we needed to roll up our
sleeves and give it at least 4 days so we could experience
everything that we desired. It has been 5 years since our last
stay and once again we made a list of all the things we wanted
to do before we left. Here’s how it played out. First a couples
massage and then Patty’s surprise oxygen facial at Blue Mercury
Spa, then upstairs to our suite to continue our couples
massage….. then shopping in the Quarter for a little something
for Patty to wear tonight (she likes to show her skin, claims it
helps me win, thus her saying “light to fight and skin to
win”). I pick up an early Birthday present for her at
CACHE, then off to Starbucks for a Latte and some
people watching while she makes her rounds (Chico’s, Landau’s, a
Fendi and Perfect’s), and if she goes to White House Black
Market I gave her explicit instructions to ship it home, I’m off
for the next 4 days.) All this is going on and we haven’t
started the drinking, gambling, dining, drinking, dancing yet.
I drop by Cuba Libre and secure a 8pm reservation for Friday
night and make note to self to immediately thereafter head to
Red Square for a brilliantly super chilled nearly frozen Stoly
martini and a trip into the vault for a picture in furs and
Russian Military Garb so the kids will know we still can kick
it….. You need to visit the Tropicana again real soon friends. |
